what is tarot, palmistry & reiki?
What is Tarot?Tarot can be found throughout history, originally called tarroch and used as a playing cards game in Italy. In 1909 Ryder and Waite created the tarot deck we know today that inspires many other decks, the original deck is designed by Pamela Coleman Smith.
Every tarot deck is made up of 78 cards, each card has its own meanings which represent different aspects of your life and when they are put together in a spread, they can show you where you are at the moment.
My favorite deck that I’ll often use in a reading with me is the Light Seers tarot deck. I enjoy using this deck as it is colourful and welcoming, perfect for whether you are having your first reading or have had many before.
What is Palmistry?Did you know, the story of your life is on the palm of your hands? Every line, mount, marking and more can tell you about different areas of your life, past, present and future. Our hands are one of the first ways we meet the world and continue to change with us as we get older. Our hands are connected to our nervous systems and reflect what we experience through the details on them.
Your hands are unique to you.
Reiki is a form of energy healing, created by Dr Usui in Japan in the early 1900s. Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-intrusive hands on healing technique, which uses spiritual energy (universal life source) to help treat physical ailments - headaches, sore back or hips, period cramps etc, as well as supporting your emotional and mental wellbeing, and spiritual health, while also encouraging personal and spiritual growth. It's incredibly helpful if you have a busy mind, struggle to unwind or are looking to spend time connecting with yourself.

In person reiki treatments mean you get to make yourself comfortable on a cozy massage table wrapped in blankets. As you relax I will pass my hands over you to sense any areas that may need my attention, then I will slowly work down your body starting from your head all the way down to your feet, placing my hands on you where required, using non-invasive hand positions. Hand placements may vary depending on what you're comfortable with.
Once I have completed your treatment I will clear your energy and the energy around you, before allowing you some time to come back to the present ready to continue with your day.
